International Press Telecommunications Council or just IPTC It is a standard or model of data embedded in images adopted by several software manufacturers.
One of the goals of the IPTC is to improve information management for photo and image archives. It is also considered a complement to the EXIF specification.
Types of assets that can have this protocol: JPG/JPEG. TIFF, TIF, PNG, JIFIF and GIF
- To view IPTC information in the DAM:
- Search for an item of your choice;
- Click on DETAILS;
- On the left side, in the white bar, click on the IPTC icon
