Hide Category Navigation is when we hide the Category from users who have the profile permission for it, through navigation, but keep access to items during searches.
Therefore, the manager and the user are able to perform actions according to the permission given to the Profile, such as editing, sharing, on the Category items, but they do not see it while browsing the categories page.
To hide navigation for a Category:
Step 1 - Select Profiles, on the top bar of the manager;
Step 2 - In Permissions, type the category you want to hide;
Step 3 - Activate the Hide navigation button.
