SFTP - Secure File Transfer Protocol - is used to transfer, access and manage files between computers over an encrypted connection.
It is projected to establish a connection between an internet private server so users can transfer files (download) to the computer or server (upload).
The main goal is to transfer encrypted data, but can also be used to obtain general access to the FTP file system. It also includes the commands that can be used to execute operations in a remote computer to show the file content, change directories, create folders or delete files, for example.
