For those who want to create an Item from scratch, with content approval and, at the end of the task, automatically leave it registered in the DAM, the workflow tool is the most indicated.
When creating a workflow tool, the Requester will be able to configure who are the users who will have the role of executors and approvers of the tasks.
Then, it will be possible to create specific tasks within this workflow and each task will contain a name, a summary, additional information with metadata, related items and a pre-registration of the item that will be generated at the end.
For example, every month you have a demand to create posts for social media, Instagram and LinkedIn, but each piece has a different format and text configuration. With this, you can create a workflow tool that will be "Items for social networks" and create two tasks, one for Instagram and another task for LinkedIn. With this, you load the executors with the necessary information, they can create the items and send you for approval. Once you or any other permitted user approves, the item will be available for download and sharing, and it will already be saved in your DAM.
All users participating in the task will have access to a dash, located in the top menu, with access to the tool. Users who are selected as executors and approvers will receive an email notification with this request and it is possible to update the status on the task itself.
Note: The tool can be created, edited or deleted only by Profiles with Manager permission.
