According to the LGPD (General Data Protection Law)
1 - Personal Data is information about people that identifies an individual in two ways:
Direct Identification: allows the imediate individualization of the person, such as full name, ID, etc.
Indirect identification: a compilation of information that when put together helps with the identification of the person for example: profession, address, gender, etc.
2 - Sensitive Personal Data is information that can lead to discrimination, therefore need better protection.
- racial origin or ethnicity
- religion
- political stand
- affiliation with a trade union or organization of a religious nature
- philosophical or political
- data relating to health or sex life
- genetic or biometric data, when linked to a natural person
Besides, the processing of sensitive data is only allowed with the explicit consent of the Data Owner.
We discourage the creation of Metadata of this nature and reiterate that is the sole responsibility of the Client as the Controller of the platform.
